Shashi Kapoor the youngest son of Prithvi Raj Kapoor, & super talented actor of his era is no more with us. Legendry actor died at Mumbai's Kokilaben Ambani Hospital on Monday at the age of 79.He had kidney problem & was on wheelchair from long time. Let know some unknown facts about him….
  •  Shashi Kapoor was born on 18th March 1938, & his real name was Balbir Prithivi Raj Kapoor.
  • Acting was in blood as Kapoor family is bollwood family. Before being most want hero of Bollywood industry he has done films like aag, awara as a child artist. The fame he had got was earned by him.
  •  Shashi Kapoor got married with Jennifer Kendal an English actress, both of them fall love in love while practicing in theatre & than get married, from whom he had 2 son & 1 daughter . But his beloved wife died in 1984 which shattered him. He was one woman man never get married again.
  •  His mesmerizing dark brown eyes ,underwent a cataract surgery,(2012) but he got well soon after the surgery.
  •  This is known by very less people that he love to play musical instruments & his favorite musical instrument was paino.
  •  Shashi Kapoor was a real gentleman as he never drink alcohol or smoke in his whole life.
  • He used to say “It will be great achievement for mankind when man finally learns to become a human”
  •  He won many awards , National Film Award – Special Jury Award (feature film) – in custody, National Film Award for Best Actor – the Delhi times, Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor- Deewar.                                                                                                                                   He also got Dadasaheb Phalke Award(2015), Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award(2010), Padma Bhushan(2011).
  •  Shashi had done fabulous work in movies like Deewar, The Delhi Times,Phaasi, Chori mera kam, Jab jab phool khile & many more. His debut film was Dharamputra(1961).
  •  He had also given number of hit Songs which are yet not forgot by people like tera mujhe se hai pahle ka naata koi, likhe jo khat tujhe,ek dal pr tota bole, kabhi tera daman na chute, etc. these were most popular romantic hits.
